You are here for a purpose

I am so sorry, you don’t deserve to be broken. I understand you may feel hopeless, and that's ok. You may be thinking, this is it. This is all there is. How will I recover? How can I move on? How can I get better? What now? I want you to remember there always has been, and always will be a plan for you. God created you for a reason, a purpose. The Sovereign Lord, and Almighty God of the universe has a plan for you. He knit you together in your mother’s womb, and he knows you by name. Why would God make the sacrifice to save you if he didn’t have a plan for you?

I also want you to keep in mind that God knows you. He knows you better than you know yourself. He understands your situation better than any human ever could. He also knows exactly what you’re feeling. He thinks your feelings are valid, because they are. No issue or problem is too small for him. He cares about you, and knows you may be feeling hopeless. Nothing is so small that God won't care. God is a sovereign god, but He is also a personal god. He created humans to have a personal relationship with them, so he could love us and we would love him in return. So he loves you. He loves you enough to care about even the littlest things. Similarly, no problem is too big, or complicated for God. He spoke this world into existence. He has the power to heal your deepest wounds. And he has the power to give you peace.

With that peace, he has the power to help you do great things. Your story could be an inspiration to a random person, or it could be helpful to someone you love to have someone like you who understands them. Or, it could be an inspiration for you in the future. You can look back on your situation, and realize how far you have come. When you see how strong you can be when it really matters, you know you can make it through anything. That way, when you’re going through something else, you know you can make it through.

Have you ever heard of the rule when time traveling? Don't touch anything, or you might change the future drastically. When you take a step back and think about that, there's a few important things to note. If you ever feel like you are just one of eight billion people, you are right. But that doesn’t mean you don’t matter. Let’s say you, a time traveler, bumps into a random person on the street. That person then bumps into a friend from elementary school they wouldn’t have seen unless you pushed them. They catch up, become friends, get married, then bam, a whole new family line is born. All because of one push. Maybe someone in that family invents flying cars, you never know.

Or maybe you give some money to a homeless person. That person might buy some food, then get healthy, get a job, make money, then be inspired to start an organization to help homeless people. Maybe they’ll come up with a plan that could eliminate homelessness, and you would never know. The most well known people today were once just normal people too.

The point is, you matter. Every person and soul on this earth matters. Let no one tell you otherwise.
