Wherever you go, God’s love follows.

Our culture tells us many lies. One of these lies is that we are not good enough. This lie is easy to listen to because we tend to get negative thoughts stuck in our minds, and the more you think something the easier it is to think it again.

This can be used positively by thinking of many biblical truths often so that you will always know them, but it could also leave us hurting and vulnerable, allowing others to use our damaged states to take advantage of us. This could happen in many ways like trying to sell a “life-changing” product that really just scams you or drags you down farther.

This lie is often heard online when people try to drag others down to make themselves feel better. This is not true, because God will always love us no matter what we do, say or the way we act. God’s love is unconditional and you can always find refuge in Him. The truth is that you are a child of God. This truth fights against that lie in our culture. The truth will remind us that it doesn’t matter what others think of us because God loves us. We can take comfort in verses like Psalm 139:13–14.:

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Verses like this remind us of God’s great love for us.

When people try to drag us down or try to make us feel worthless, we return to God’s truths and what He says about us, not what others say about us. We should try hard in everything we do and serve others as if we are serving the Lord at all times.

I was also affected by this lie, making me feel like I was worthless and not as good as everyone else. When this happened, I prayed and found some Bible verses that helped me through this hard time. We never have to fear because we know that God is with us, just like this Bible verse says:

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10.

God also never leaves our sides, just like Joshua 1:5 says:

“No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

And finally, this verse about how God renews your strength.

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31.

In conclusion, God will always love us and we can trust in Him and His truth no matter what. He combats all lies that society may tell us.
