Submission Guidelines

We are looking for writers to join our team of content creators! If you think you have something to add to our community of encouragement and support, feel free to read the guidelines and submit your 500 word love letter to hello@lovesophiaproject.com.

Thank you for your interest in writing for The Love, Sophia Project!

Content submissions should be 500 words and emailed to hello@lovesophiaproject.com by July 15th with "Love, Sophia Project letter" in the subject.

The underlying theme of every letter shared here is each human being has intrinsic value and worth. We are a community of support and encouragement where people are reminded of their value every time they visit this space. We want to create a place for people to grow mentally, emotionally, in relationships, and faith through authentic community!

You are welcome to submit more than one letter per term, the more content the better! Potential categories for content are noted below, though this is not an exhaustive list. We are open for suggestions, so if you have a different idea submit it also!

- Fashion

- Food

- Faith

- Encouragement

- Mental health awareness

- Suicide prevention

- Positive body image and self-talk

- Fitness

- Book/movie/food reviews

- Addiction awareness

- Education on Safe/healthy relationships

- Education about trauma

- "How To" articles

- "Tips" articles (top five things to do when...)

When you submit your letter, please include a square image to go along with your written content. The first time you submit content please include a picture of yourself and information for your author bio (name, short introduction of yourself, social media links).

If we post the content you submit, we will tag you on social media. Please share!

The goal of the content for this website is to be a quick, encouraging, informative read with the tone of coming from a friend.

Deadlines

We take letter submissions every quarter! To be included in a season, you must submit your writing by these dates. If you miss the submission date, your writing will be included in the next season’s batch!

Here are the deadlines and themes:

GROW- July 16

ROOT- September 16

RISE- December 16
